Marshall Dekalb Electric Cooperative has one goal when it comes to providing electricity to you and your family – to have the most reliable electrical service possible for the most reasonable and lowest rates. The Cooperative is managed by a board of trustees that includes one representative from each district in the service area. As a member of the Cooperative, you are more than a customer; you are also an answer and can use your voice to elect members to the board of trustees.

The MDEC team loves giving back to the community, whether by teaching youth the safety and dangers of electricity; through the implementation of Project Help, which serves those needing financial assistance; by honoring a deserving high school senior with a scholarship; and many other ways.
