| The Guntersville Church of Christ is made up of imperfect people who are being perfected by the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are an independent group of Christians who look to the Holy Bible as the infallible word of God. Our enduring mission is model the church we read about in the New Testament.
While we share the name Church of Christ with many other congregations throughout the world we are an independent group of Christians. We are not tied to any national or international bureaucracy. The Guntersville Church of Christ’s sole guide is the Holy Bible. We believe the Word of God provides us with all of the necessary information needed to fulfill His will for us as individuals and as a congregation. |

Saint William Catholic Church has been serving the needs of Catholics in Marshall County from our downtown Guntersville, Alabama location since 1949. The early pre-parish organization was a mission outreach from nearby Saint James Parish of Gadsden. In 1959, the Diocese of Birmingham created Saint William Parish, and a sanctuary was erected on the present site in the center of Guntersville. An expansion project, The Foley Center, dedicated in May of 2018 includes a parish center, classrooms, commercial kitchen, and much-needed storage.
