Caring Heart Thrift Store accepts ANY items that are in good condition and can be used to help others in our communities. We always need CLOTHING for the entire family, especially baby & toddler clothing. We get referrals from DHR for foster kids & teens who need clothes as well as from our schools and churches, and we can't help these families if we don't have the inventory available to do so.

We have helped so many of those who come from referrals for furniture, appliances, and other home goods when they leave domestic violence situations or are recovering from homelessness.

The CARE Center has expanded and now operates thrift stores in New Hope, Gurley, and Guntersville. The center offers high-quality afterschool programs, summer camps, adult learning opportunities, college and career counseling, recovery support, financial counseling, and small groups.

We sell a wide variety of items commonly taken on business trips and vacations such as clothes, cameras, jewelry, electronics and golf clubs. You never know what people may pack, so you could be one of the lucky shoppers to scoop up an African mask, vacuum-packed frogs, or even a snowboard.

We also sell unclaimed cargo which has been lost in shipment. This merchandise often includes bulk items that are new with tags, like multiples of clothing, books and household products. Unexpected large items might also be included, like works of art or a piece of furniture. You never know what you'll find!
